DIN128 Split Spring washers, curved lock washers are made of spring steels, 65Mn and #70 steels or stainless steels. Different to DIN127 spring washer, Its formed from a steel wire or square bar to a curved spring shape. The steel spring lock washers could be in zinc coated, yellow zinc coated, hot dipper galvanized and black oxide, while the stainless steel spring washers generally passivated offers a better corresion resistant and durability.
